Captain America is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 (March 1941), from Marvel Comics' 1940s predecessor, Timely Comics, and was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Over the years, an estimated 210 million copies of "Captain America" comic books have been sold in a total of 75 countries. For nearly all of the character's publication history Captain America was the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with an indestructible shield that can be thrown as a weapon

the DEATH OF CAPTAIN AMERICA

Following his surrender, Steve Rogers is indicted on multiple criminal charges. As he is brought to a federal courthouse, a sniper shoots him in the back. In the chaos that ensues, he is wounded three more times in the stomach and chest. Rogers is taken to a hospital, where he dies. The assassination, orchestrated by theRed Skull, involves Crossbones as the sniper and Dr. Faustus posing as a S.H.I.E.L.D. psychiatrist, who gives Sharon Carter a hypnotic suggestion to shoot Rogers at a crucial moment.

The superhero community is shaken by the assassination. The Punisher temporarily adopts a costume similar to that of Captain America, while Winter Soldier and Wolverine seek to avenge Rogers' death. TheWinter Soldier steals Captain America's shield, and the Punisher provides him with the mask from Steve Rogers' uniform.Captain America is publicly laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery, under a monument built in his honor. The body in Arlington is a fake: Tony Stark, accompanied by Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, returns Rogers' body to the Arctic where Rogers had been found years before. POWER AND ABILITIES

Captain America has no superhuman powers, although as a result of the Super-Soldier serum and vita-ray treatment, he is transformed from a frail young man into a "perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning. Captain America's strength, endurance, agility, speed, reflexes, durability and healing are at the highest limits of natural human potential. It has been established that Rogers' body regularly regenerates the super-soldier serum; it does not wear off.

The formula enhances all of his metabolic functions and prevents the build-up of fatigue poisons in his muscles, giving him endurance far in excess of an ordinary human being. This accounts for many of his extraordinary feats, including bench pressing 1100 pounds (500kg) and running a mile (1.6 km) in little more than a minute. Furthermore, his enhancements are the reason why he was able to survive being frozen in suspended animation for decades. Rogers is also unable to become intoxicated by alcohol and is immune to many diseases.
Mentally, Rogers' battle experience and training make him an expert tactician and an excellent field commander, with his teammates frequently deferring to his orders in battle. Rogers' reflexes and senses are also extraordinarily keen. He is a master of multiple martial arts. Years of practice with his indestructible shield make him able to aim and throw it with almost unerring accuracy. His skill with hisshield is such that he can attack multiple targets in succession with a single throw or even cause a boomerang-like return from a throw to attack an enemy from behind. In the comics, he is regarded by other skilled fighters as one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in the Marvel Universe

Cheap Auto Insurance

I attended a friend’s party yesterday when something took my attention. While I am in my friend’s house terrace, leaning on the balusters, I saw these cars parked in the driveway. Sounds weird but it makes me, somehow, jealous to whoever owned that car. The cars look so expensive and properly cared by its owner. I am always dreaming to have a car. Well, I once had a car but we sold it already but if ever I will buy a new car. I’ll promise myself to take care of it and do the best that I can to maintain its beauty. Then, I will look any cheap auto insurance online so my car and my self are protected and secure and I have nothing to worry if a traffic accident will happen and damage my car badly. I heard from a friend that there are site that offers instant auto insurance quotes which is very interesting. Now this makes me realize that I should better start saving money so I can buy a new car already.

THE WASP

The Wasp is a founding member of the Marvel Comics superhero team, The Avengers. The original character to bear that name was Janet van Dyne. Created in 1963 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, she was the love interest of Henry Pym — the hero variously known as Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Goliath, and Yellowjacket. After her 2008 death, the grieving Pym adopted "the Wasp" as his own code-name.Both versions have had the ability to shrink to a height of perhaps several centimeters, fly by means of insectoid wings (which appear only at small size), and fire energy blasts.

Making use of sub-atomic Pym particles, the Wasp possesses the power to alter her physical size, causing her body's mass to be shunted to or gained from an alternate dimension known as Kosmos. She is able to shrink to a minimum of half an inch or grow to a maximum of several hundred feet. Smaller or larger sizes are possible but the exertion begins to put a strain on her body. Initially, these abilities stemmed from use of a Pym particle gas released from special capsules. Over time, however, her body has absorbed enough particles to allow her to alter her size at will.

At miniature size, her strength level increases as her body's mass is compacted. At giant size, her strength and endurance increase geometrically with her height, reaching superhuman levels. Despite the advantages of giant size, Janet usually prefers to remain the diminutive Wasp, calling on her growth power only in times of extreme emergency.

At miniature size, the Wasp grows a pair of translucent insect wings from her back, a result of genetic modifications provided by Hank Pym. These grant her the power of flight, at speeds up to 40 mph (64 km/h).

The Wasp is able to harness and augment her body's natural bio-electric energy, releasing it from her hands in powerful electrical bursts, which she calls her "stinger blasts" or "wasp's stings." Originally, she required special wrist devices to produce these but again, Pym particle absorption has allowed her to create the ability unaided.

The Wasp's genetic modifications also grant her the ability to sprout small prehensile antennae from her forehead which allow her to telepathically communicate with and control insects. However, this is an ability which she rarely uses.

Van Dyne has also displayed several non-superhuman abilities that have garnered her special fame and attention, foremost of which is her fashion sense, as in nearly all of her early appearances, she sported a new costume, presumably designed and manufactured on her own. In addition, The Wasp is one of the most intuitive, if not deductive, members of the Avengers. She effectively deduced that a chemical accident created a schizophrenic break in Henry Pym, the relationship between the scarlet witch and the Vision was the result of the infused personality of Wonder Man, and guessed the identity of Iron Man at a time when Tony Stark faked his own death.

Cars and Houses

Houses and cars have something in common. Both of them required an intensive care on the inner and outer parts. Houses, with the help of some interior designers, can look more appealing by renovating a specific area and make it look more elegant. Houses, with the use of paints and with the skills of an expert exterior designer, will make the exterior part more creative and unique. This goes the same thing in your car. Car, with the help of some car operators, can look more appealing by adding some cool gadgets like audio and video player inside. You can also replace your floor mats to customized ones to make it more unique. For exterior, you can add some cool car accessories to make it look great. However, in houses, decorating is more than just putting designs on it. The most important part in decorating a house is the materials that you will be using. The higher the quality, the better. In cars, accessories are more than just display. It would be great to add accessories in your car that has multiple functions. You can add bug deflectors in front of your car or truck to protect your cars from bugs and other highway debris. You can also try putting window vent visors for a complete and ultimate protection.
If you want to know more about these car accessories, you can visit www.realtruck.com and see what car accessories will fit for your car. The site offers different accessories for your car, truck and SUV. Auto lights, floor mats, side mirrors, seat covers, vent visors including stampede products. Name it! RealTruck.com has it all for you. If you are interested, you can go and visit them and see what else the site has to offer.

HENRY PYM

Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym is a fictional character that appears in publications published by Marvel Comics.Pym's character, which debuted in a standalone science-fiction anthology story, returning several issues later as the superhero Ant-Man, with the power to shrink to the size of an insect. Pym is eventually given a crime-fighting partner, Janet van Dyne, the Wasp, and goes on to assume other superhero identities, including the size-changing Giant-Man and Goliath; the insect-themed Yellow Jacket; and, as of 2009,The Wasp . Debuting in the Silver Age of Comic Books, the character of Henry Pym has featured in other Marvel-endorsed products such as animated films; arcade and video games; television series and merchandise such as action figures and trading cards.

Dr. Hank Pym is a scientific genius of the highest order with expertise in the fields of quantum physics, robotics/cybernetics, artificial intelligence, biochemistry, and even entomology; he possesses a Ph.D in biochemistry and is one of the world's foremost biochemists. Notable achievements in robotics include the invention of Ultron and occasional repair of the android Vision. Pym also discovered the self-titled subatomic "Pym particles" that enable mass to be shunted or gained from an alternate dimension, thus changing the size of himself or other beings or objects.Pym has experimented with size-shifting for much of his adult life, initially via ingested capsules and later via particle-filled gas. Enough exposure to the particles eventually allows Pym to change size at will, as well as mentally generate Pym particles to change the sizes of other living beings or inanimate objects. Pym retains his normal strength when "ant" size, and possesses greatly increased strength and stamina when in "giant" form, courtesy of the increased mass. He is able to attain a stated maximum height of roughly 100 feet (30 m) and a minimum height of 1/2 inch; he has also demonstrated the ability to shrink to subatomic size. Pym’s costume is synthetic stretch fabric composed of unstable molecules and automatically adapts to his shifting sizes.
He also uses a variety of aids, including a cybernetic helmet for achieving rudimentary communication with ants and other higher insects and to control their minds (as Ant-Man) and artificial wings and bio-blasters called "stingers" built into his gloves (as Yellowjacket). Pym also carries a variety of weaponry, provisions, and scientific instruments, which are shrunken to the size of microchips and stored in the pockets of his uniform.

Cheap Eyeglasses For Everyone

(My Younger Brother and Me)
Just like me, my younger brother loves to wear eyeglasses. These eyeglasses may be too bulky yet fashionable. I used to match up my glasses to my clothes and I am very comfortable in that way. I have a poor eye sight. I can’t even read texts from books. That’s why I always have my reading glasses in my bag. I used to collect fashionable eyeglasses and place them in a separate drawer. Whenever I broke an eyeglass, I immediately contact my optometrist to fix it. But after reading “Eric’s Review of Zenni Optical”, I realized that it would be better just to buy a new prescription glasses from Zenni Optical. Zenni Optical is well-known for providing high quality eyeglasses. No wonder why they are dubbed us “The #1 online Rx glasses store”. This is the only online store where you can find the Lowest Price Progressive Glasses. As far as I know, you can purchase an eyeglass for as low as $8. See! Instead of a very costly repair, it would be better to buy a new one from Zenni Optical where I can find the cheapest yet high quality glasses.
Here’s one of the eyeglasses I found from their website. I love the abstract combination of red and black. So great! You can visit their site too to see the rest of their cool eyeglasses.

THOR

THE MIGHTY THOR

http://www.fantastic-four.nl/Thor2.jpg

Thor (often called The Mighty Thor) is a Marvel Comics superhero, based on the thunder god of Norse mythology. The superhero was created by editor Stan Lee and penciller Jack Kirby, who co-plotted, and scripter Larry Lieber, and first appeared in Journey into Mystery #83 (Aug. 1962).

On a mission from his father, the omnipotent Lord of Asgard, Odin, Thor acted as a superhero while maintaining the secret identity of Dr. Donald Blake, an American physician with a partially disabled leg. Blake would transform by tapping his walking stick on the ground; the cane became the magical hammer Mjolnir and Blake transformed into Thor.

Thor often battled his evil adoptive brother Loki, a Marvel character adapted from the Norse god of mischief, and was a member of the superhero group the Avengers. Apart from this superhero Marvel featured a number of Thors (and similar characters) based on him.

http://www.marvel.com/comics/onsale/covers/1207/thor6.jpg

Like all Asgardians, Thor is not truly immortal but relies upon periodic consumption of the Golden Apples of Idunn to sustain his lifespan, which to date has lasted many millennia. Being the son of Odin and the elder goddess Gaea, Thor is the physically strongest of the Norse gods, and has performed such feats as lifting a large percentage of the World Serpent, stated to be one third the size of the Earth, and hurling the Odinsword, an enormous mystical blade of incalculable weight, through a Celestial. If pressed in battle, Thor is also capable of entering into a state known as the "Warrior's Madness" ("bärsärkargång" in Norse), which is claimed to temporarily increase his strength tenfold. He also possesses virtually inexhaustible godly stamina, high resistance to physical injury (eg. rocket fire, falls from orbital heights), immunity to all Earthly diseases, and superhuman agility and reflexes. As the God of Thunder, Thor can summon the elements of the storm (lightning, rain, wind, etc.) but uses Mjolnir as a tool to focus this ability.

With millenia of experience, Thor is a superb hand-to-hand combatant. He is also skilled in armed combat, excelling in the use of the war hammer, sword and mace. Thor possesses two items which assist him in combat: the enchanted Belt of Strength, and his mystical hammer Mjolnir. The first item doubles Thor's strength and endurance while the second is used to control his weather abilities; flight, energy projection and absorption; dimensional apertures; matter manipulation and the most powerful of his offensives, the God Blast and the Anti-Force

LEECH

LEECH
http://images2.fanpop.com/images/soapbox/x-men-beyond-evolution_28797_top.jpg

Leech is a character in the Marvel Comics Universe.

Leech made his first appearance in Uncanny X-Men as a Morlock, a group of mutants whose deformities force them to live in the sewers under Manhattan. He is usually depicted as being around 12 years old (his exact age is unrevealed). He speaks in broken English and refers to himself in the third person.

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/462/79409-5791-leech_large.jpg

Leech can dampen or completely negate for an undetermined amount of time the powers of any mutants in close proximity to him. He also seems to be able to influence powers that are non-mutant in origin. For example, during Marvel's Mutant Massacre crossover event, Leech negated the powers of the superhero team Power Pack whose abilities were bestowed on them by an extraterrestrial.

His dampening ability in the beginning was involuntary and uncontrollable, but now his power appears to be under his conscious control. In addition to leaving his victims temporarily depowered, his leeching can have physical effects. For example, at certain times when his power has been targeted at mutants with super strength, his victims have become temporarily thin and frail. Leech has also shown the ability to manifest a weakened version of a mutant power his power is directed towards.

WOLFSBANE

WOLFSBANE
Wolfsbane (Rahne Sinclair) is a Marvel Comics superheroine, associated with the X-Men. A Scottish mutant, Wolfsbane possesses the ability to transform into a wolf or into a transitional state somewhere between human and wolf. She has honed her powers to shift between human and wolf characteristics but must keep her feral instincts at bay when she does.
She was originally a member of the X-Men's 1980s junior team The New Mutants and later the Pentagon-sponsored X-Factor and the European offshoot Excalibur. She appeared for a time as a teacher at Xavier's Academy in New X-Men. She served as a member of the X-Factor Investigations detective agency, until she joined the new incarnation of X-Force. She has thus been a member of six secondary X-Men teams, more than any other character.

Wolfsbane is a mutant with the ability to transform herself into a wolf at will, while retaining her human intelligence, or into a transitional form which combines human and lupine aspects; while this ability is similar to lycanthropy, it is not magical in nature. She can change into a humanoid lupine form resembling a werewolf, or become an actual Red Wolf. In either form, Wolfsbane has enhanced senses of hearing, sight, and smell (similar to those of a wolf's, but also superior to them); animal-like strength, agility, and reflexes; razor-sharp talons and fangs; and bestial instincts. In lupine form she can also see into the infrared and ultraviolet portions of the spectrum, thereby enabling her to perceive heat patterns and to see in the dark.

SWAY

SWAY

Sway (Suzanne Chan) is a fictional comic book superhero, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe.Suzanne was one of the "Missing X-Men"
She took the code-name Sway and went with MacTaggert. She was in the first team, along with Kid Vulcan, Darwin, and Petra to attempt to rescue the X-Men from Krakoa, but was sliced in half by the island's force. With the last of her power, she and the mortally wounded Petra combined their powers to save their remaining teammates from certain death.

Sway demonstrated the ability to decelerate and probably stop time around her body, as well as a form of retrocognitive projection. It's highly possible her powers revolve around the control of chronitons, much like Tempo, another time-manipulating mutant. By focusing carefully, Suzanne was able to slow down and stop objects entirely, enabling her to freeze projectiles in mid-air, immobilize her enemies, and various other effects. Apparently, Suzanne's training had honed her abilities to the point where she could target specific objects in her range or everything within a certain radius.

PETRA

PETRA

Petra is a fictional character, a mutant appearing in the comic books published by Marvel Comics.
Petra was a "terrakinetic" or "geo-morph", having the ability to psychokinetically manipulate, control, levitate and reshape the classic element of earth; sand, stone, rock, lava, and/or dirt and could even transform the consistency of earth and rock, such as turning a lump of coal into a diamond. She also could use this power to cause minor earthquakes and create shapes out of solid rock.

In the Wolverine and the X-Men episode "Past Discretions," a young girl named Christy Nord (voiced by Kari Wahlgren) appears in the episode. Resembling Petra in both appearance and powers, Christy appears as the daughter of Maverick and has the mutant ability to manipulate earth and stone.

STEPFORD CUCKOOS

STEPFORD CUCKOOS

The Stepford Cuckoos are a group of fictional mutant psychically-linked quintuplets of the Marvel Comics universe, students at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. Known properly as Celeste, Esme, Irma "Mindee", Phoebe, and Sophie Cuckoo, their names, when placed in alphabetical order, also denote their respective ages—with Celeste being the first born and Sophie being the youngest. Originally calling themselves the Five-in-One, with the deaths of Esme and Sophie the remaining sisters are now known as the Three-in-One.
The Cuckoos share a telepathic hive mind. Powerful telepaths individually, their combined power is even greater than its sum. These powers allow them the psychic standards of broadcasting/receiving thoughts, mind control, planting illusions, force blasts of pure psionic energy, astral projection, etc. Their gestalt mind allows them to communicate with one another instantaneously, though the strength of their gestalt depends on their proximity to one another; the further they are from one another, the weaker their ability to connect.

Though they most often function and act as one unit, they are indeed capable of thinking and operating individually. When all five sisters were alive, Sophie was the dominant consciousness and often commanded the Cuckoos. However, as implied by Esme's actions, it is possible for another one of the Cuckoos to wrest control of the gestalt and perhaps even use the powers of all sisters without the consent and knowledge of the others. With the loss of Sophie and Esme, The Cuckoos are not as strong as they were with five.
Like their mother, Emma Frost, each Cuckoo sister also possesses the ability to transform into an organic diamond body, and as such becomes completely impervious to harm. Unlike Frost, however, their diamond forms are flawless; such that nothing can enter or escape. They demonstrate this ability by sealing the splintered fragment of the Phoenix Force inside their hearts by permanently changing their hearts to diamond, in the process sacrificing their ability to ever feel genuine emotions again. The Phoenix Force eventually manages to escape, potentially allowing the sisters to regain their emotions. During the Warsong series, the Cuckoos gained the power of flight and pyrokinesis, presumably from Phoenix-induced telekinesis.
