Ms. MARVEL

JEAN GREY

Jean Grey-Summers (née Grey) is a fictional comic book superheroine appearing in books published by Marvel Comics. She has been known under the aliases Marvel Girl and Phoenix, and is best known as one of five original members of the X-Men
Jean Grey-Summers is a mutant born with telepathic and telekinetic powers. Her powers first manifested when she saw her childhood friend being hit by a car. She is a caring, nurturing figure, but she also must deal with being an Omega-level mutant and the physical manifestation of the cosmic Phoenix Force. She faces death several times in the history of the series, first in the classic "Dark Phoenix Saga," but due to her connection with the Phoenix Force, she, as her namesake implies, rises from death.
Phoenix is an important figure in the lives of her husband Cyclops; Professor X, who is like a father and mentor to her; Wolverine who is a very good friend and, at several points, a potential love interest; Storm , who is her best friend and a sister-like figure; her daughter Rachel Summers; her son X-Man; and stepson Cable

Jean Grey-Summers is an Omega-level mutant, and has been one of the physical hosts of the vastly powerful Phoenix Force who possesses god-like powers and is one of the most feared beings that ever lived. With the Phoenix Force, Jean has potentially limitless psionic powers of telepathy, telekinesis, cosmic pyrokinesis and energy manipulation - Henry McCoy has said that, based on her massive power levels, "on the Richter scale, she'd be a 12". When bonded to the Phoenix, she is said to outclass mutants, granting her complete control over matter, energy, thought, and unlimited psionic energies. She can tap into reserved energies for future generations, denying them existence.

Jean is considered to be one of the Earth's most powerful telepathic minds. Jean Grey, as the Phoenix, has limitless telepathic powers, able to influence any individual. Jean's telepathy allows her to read, influence, control, and communicate with the minds of others, project her mind into the astral plane, and generate telepathic force blasts that can stun or kill others. Jean is one of the few telepaths skilled enough to communicate with animals . She can also telepathically take away or control people's natural bodily functions and senses, such as sight, hearing, smell, taste, or even mutant powers. A side effect of her telepathy is that she is gifted with an eidetic memory.

Thanks to Wind Generators

Election is almost done and the partial official counts are now very predictable. This is my first time to vote and I am so happy that I became a part of the first ever Philippine automated election. I voted for NoyNoy Aquino for my president while Jejomar Binay for Vice. For Senators, I make sure to include Bong Bong Marcos because of his great contribution in my beloved province of Batanes. One of his most notable contributions would the construction of wind generators in our area. Batanes is one of the areas that haven’t reached yet by electric genearators that is why most area of Batanes does not have electricity. That is why we are very thankful to Bong Bong Marcos for raising this project. These wind turbines help to convert wind power to energy. This energy will now be converted to electricity that will be distributed in different areas. These generators are very useful and change the lifestyle for each and everyone in out province. Yesterday, while I was searching over the web, I also found a site that offers wind turbines. Aelos wind turbine is being dubbed as the leading manufacturer of this kind of generators. If you are interested, you can visit them at http://www.windturbinestar.com/ and see that more the site has to offer!

MOONDRAGON

MOONDRAGON

Moondragon is a fictional character in Marvel Comics Universe. A vastly powerful telepath, master martial artist, minor telekinetic, and highly skilled geneticist, Moondragon's most notable characteristics are her shaved head, superiority complex, and gruelling elite excellence in virtually every area a human being can achieve.
Unlike most Marvel characters, who have gained their paranormal abilities through birth or accident Moondragon has strictly achieved her extraordinary talents through extreme degrees of personal regimen. She is openly bisexual, and has been romantically attracted to Daredevil, Thor, Cloud, Quasar, Marlo Chandler, and Phyla-Vell.

Heather Douglas is a human who has accessed her full psionic potential through extreme training under the Titanian monks of Shao-Lom. She is also highly educated in Titanian science, and is a master martial artist.Moondragon primarily possesses tremendous telepathic abilities, that arguably make her the most powerful known Earth-born telepath in the Marvel Universe, which, among other feats, have enabled her to control the population of an entire planet to stop an ongoing war, while enslaving the thunder god Thor as her personal lover. She has demonstrated willpower and spiritual strength rivalling that of Thanos, or the Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange, pierced the psionic shields of the cosmic entity Galactus to enable communication, without apparent effort (whereas Professor X and Magneto together could not rouse the latter's attention) and when borrowing her abilities Thanos almost managed to overwhelm the devourer.
Additionally, Moondragon suffers from occasional emotional instability due to her isolated upbringing and intense overachieving superiority complex, which alienated her from contact with her environment, used to only make her able to identify with godlike beings, and sometimes caused her to feel entitled to coerce decisions, or render ruthless judgment, upon those she encountered. However, recent more positive relationships have lightened her up considerably.

http://www.canmag.com/images/front/xmen/beast.jpg

Beast , Dr. Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy, is a comic book character, a Marvel Comics superhero and a member of the mutant team of superheroes known as the X-Men.When first introduced, Beast — a mutant — possesses ape-like superhuman physical strength and agility and oversized hands and feet, though he otherwise appears to be a normal human being. Throughout his history, Beast undergoes progressive latent transformations to his physiognomy, permanently gaining increasingly animalistic physical characteristics. These include blue fur, feline facial features, pointed ears, fangs, and claws. His physical power increases to even greater levels, as do his senses.

Despite his savage appearance, he is a brilliant man of the arts and sciences; he is a world authority on biochemistry and genetics, the X-Men's medical doctor, and the science and mathematics instructor at the Xavier Institute (the X-Men's headquarters and school for young mutants). He is also a mutant political activist. Fighting his bestial instincts and fears of social rejection, Beast dedicates his physical and mental gifts to the creation of a better world for man and mutant. He also has a witty sense of humor.

It is possible that Beast's mutation is a result of genetic atavism. However, he also possesses neotenous characteristics, which may explain him having a super genius intellect despite his animal physique.

He is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, employing a unique style of acrobatic combat, from combat training he received at Professor Xavier's and coaching from Captain America .

MANTIS

MANTIS

Mantis is a fictional character, a superhero in the Marvel Universe, and former member of the Avengers. Mantis was trained by the Priests of Pama to have total control over her body, and had almost superhuman reflexes and reactions, thus making her a grandmistress of the martial arts as developed by the Priests of Pama, and has demonstrated the ability to defeat opponents as skilled as Captain America. She could also instinctively sense weak points in an opponent and knock out beings as powerful as the thunder god Thor. She has attained a mastery of meditational disciplines giving her an unusual amount of control over her body, including autonomic functions like heartbeat, bleeding, and breathing, as well as awareness of pain, and the ability to recuperate quickly after being injured. Her control over her body was so powerful, that if she was injured, she could quickly heal her injuries through sheer force of will. She also had psychic empathy, a telepathic power that allowed her to sense the emotions of others.

Mantis gained additional abilities are a result of communion with the Prime Cotati. Her empathic ability enabled her to communicate with the plant-like Cotati and with plant-life. To travel in space, Mantis had the ability to separate her physical and astral forms, projecting her consciousness from her body, allowing her to travel interplanetary distances. She also had the ability to transfer her astral form to any place where plant life exists. She could form and inhabit a plant like simulacrum of her human body for herself out of the destination planet's local vegetation. Her fighting skills remained intact, and her empathic abilities were heightened to a superhuman degree and extended to the planet’s flora and biosphere. She could control the vegetation within her vicinity.
During her confrontations with a powerful Thanos clone, she displayed superhuman strength, a talent to simultaneously inhabit multiple simulacrums, and the ability to project strong blasts of energy, but has not been seen using these powers since. As of her appearance in Annihilation Conquest: Star-Lord, Mantis also appears to have gained precognitive abilities, and apparently now labors under a constant awareness of future events. The source of the these new powers is as yet unclear. Other powers displayed or referred to during the series were pyrokinesis and invisibility to the Phalanx.

Dane Whitman is a fictional comic book superhero in the Marvel Comics universe, the company's third person to bear the name Black Knight. HERCULES

HERCULES

Hercules is a fictional character that appears in publications published by Marvel Comics. Debuting in the Silver Age of Comic Books, the character is based on Heracles of Greek mythology, although the name Hercules is associated with the version from Roman mythology. The character has starred in three self-titled limited series and been a perennial member of the superhero team the Avengers, appearing in each of the three titles. In 2008, Hercules debuted in his own series titled The Incredible Hercules.
Hercules possesses the typical powers of an Olympian, including superhuman strength; durability; speed; reflexes and immortality. As an Olympian he is resistant to all earthly diseases, and possesses a healing factor. He also has some resistance to magic. The character is the strongest of the Olympians, being capable of feats such as lifting and hurling a giant sequoia tree, smashing rocks to powder, sealing an entire cliff around an opponent with his bare hands,, knocking out a Yellow-crested Titan, and dragging the island of Manhattan back into place. His superstrong legs allow him to run at speeds of over 100 mph, and leap over a hundred feet into the air. However his strength can be taken by significant Olympian magic. He is invulnerable enough to survive blows from even Thor, as well as complete resistance to bullets. Hercules is also highly skilled in archery, although he rarely uses his bow and arrow anymore; boxing and Greco-Roman wrestling, and in combat occasionally wields an adamantine mace - stated to be the equal of Thor's own mystical hammer Mjolnir - forged by the Greek god Hephaestus. This mace is strong enough to survive direct blows from Thor's hammer.
