MAGNETO

Magneto (born Max Eisenhardt) was a German Jew in Auschwitz Concentration Camp, his experiences there were the basis of his action in the decades to follow. He was a friend of Charles Xavier (around that time he discovered his mutant magnetism power) who would later become the founder of the X-Men, but parted ways due to their ideologies being too different. Some time later he formed the Brotherhood of Mutants as a mutant supremacy group which came into conflict with the X-Men a number of times, but has sometimes fought alongside them against a greater threat.

In Marvel Vs Capcom, Though the story loosely bases on the Onslaught era (the entity created by Charles Xavier and Magneto combined), Magneto labeled as an assist in the game may or may not be considered as canon. It is unknown if this form of Onslaught contains the consciousness of Magneto like the comics or a different entity as a whole.
(MVC3) Though Magneto's involvement in the story is mostly unknown at this time, the third trailer shows him stealing a virus sample from Albert Wesker, possibly planning to use it to turn humanity into mutant beasts or killing the human populace, similar to his plans in the X-Men comics and movies, or perhaps to keep them from infecting the mutant populace in the process, however in the Extended Intro he's shown to be on Doctor Doom's side althought he may be "pretending" to be on his side and plotting his own plans. After defeating Galactus, Galactus offered a "gift" to recreate the utopia world, Taa II, Galactus's Homeworld before devour. This new Taa II is where all Mutants living on Earth can now freely leave Earth and prosper peacefully without any more discrimination.

JOSEPH

JOSEPH

Joseph was a Marvel Comics character who was briefly a member of the X-Men.
Joseph was a clone of the X-Men’s nemesis Magneto , possessing his magnetic powers, though he was originally intended to be an amnesiac Magneto . He had a brief courtship with Rogue before dying in battle with the actual Magneto.

Joseph was discovered near a South American orphanage run by a nun known as Sister Maria. After several run-ins with "The Colonel," Joseph opted to leave the orphanage to protect the children. It was shortly after this that he encountered Rogue and saved her from the first wave of Bastion's "Operation Zero Tolerance." Rogue believed Joseph to be an amnesiac and mysteriously youthful Magneto. During this time, the X-Men first encountered the being known as Onslaught. Believing Magneto to be responsible, the Avengers sought Joseph out. Out of guilt for what he believed were his past sins, Joseph joined the X-Men in their war against Onslaught.

As a clone of Magneto, Joseph possesses the superhuman power to generate extremely powerful magnetic fields. He can employ these magnetic fields to manipulate ferrous metals and to produce a number of other effects. He has also been shown to generate electricity and electromagnetic radiation. Joseph is capable of personal levitation/flight at high speeds, and often produces a protective magnetic aura around his own body. The real Magneto has on rare occasions been able to produce a wormhole using magnetism, and to safely teleport himself and others by means of the wormhole, but Joseph has not demonstrated a similar ability.

MAGNETO

MAGNETO

Magneto is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics.
A powerful mutant with the ability to generate and control electromagnetic forces, Magneto has been the X-Men's most prominent enemy ever since his first appearance. In his early appearances, his motives were bent on megalomania, but writers have since fleshed out his character and origin, revealing him to be a Jewish Holocaust survivor whose actions are driven by the purpose of protecting the mutant race from suffering a similar fate. His role in comics have varied from supervillain to anti-hero to even hero.

The full extent of Magneto's power has been greatly expanded upon in the years since he was first introduced. At a basic level, however, Magneto has the ability to manipulate the electromagnetic force to achieve a wide range of effects.

Such effects include the creation of force-fields which can selectivelly block out matter and energy (while they usually allows sound and visible light to pass through, so Magneto can interact with other characters, they can also shut out sonic blasts and shockwaves, as well as lasers and nuclear explosions). Thanks to this, Magneto is invulnerable to most harm when his personal field is active and can survive in deep space.

He can freely manipulate electromagnetic energy in all frequencies of the spectrum; control and create electromagnetic fields and generate massive EMPs. He has also been depicted using his powers to affect both magnetic and nonmagnetic materials down to the sub-atomic level, although element transmutation strains him significantly and it seems a lot easier for him to manipulate the former. He has levitated objects as heavy as a 30,000 ton nuclear submarine and pulled a large amount of asteroids from their orbits in the solar system's asteroid belt to entirely block sunlight from reaching the earth; the maximum quantity of mass that he can affect at one time is unknown.

Magneto has been consistently and frequently depicted as resisting all but the strongest or most unexpected telepathic attacks. Over the years a number of explanations has been proposed for this, such as: anti-telepathy technology wired into his helmet, latent telepathic powers (during the Secret Wars saga), some physical aspect of his electromagnetic powers that can interfere with telepathy (he once used the earth's magnetic field to dampen the powers of all telepaths within his reach), or sheer willpower. In his early appearances, Magneto was also able to engage in astral projection.

In addition to his powers, Magneto is also a genius with competence in various fields of advanced science, especially in genetic manipulation, physics, engineering, and other fields of technology. He has invented advanced weaponry, space stations, and intelligent superhuman lifeforms. Magneto is also a master strategist with extensive combat experience capable of surviving or even winning against what would appear to be a superior force. Finally, he has had extensive combat training, though he prefers to use his powers in combat situations.
