YUN

Yun (ユン) is a character in the Street Fighter series. He first appeared in Street Fighter III and is voiced by Koji Tobe in New Generation and 2nd Impact and Kentaro Ito in 3rd Strike. He is also a playable character in the arcade version of Super Street Fighter IV.

Yun has long, brown hair that is braided into a pony tail which is covered by a blue baseball cap with a yellow visor and a circle with a skateboard in it. He sports a sleeveless, white kung fu shirt with a yellow hem and blue trim and buttons. On his arms, yellow wristbands that continue to form fingerless gloves, and black pants and sneakers. Yun is seen riding on his skateboard when not fighting.

YANG

Yang is a character in the Street Fighter series. He first appeared in Street Fighter III and is voiced by Koji Tobe in New Generation and 2nd Impact and by Masakazu Suzuki in 3rd Strike. However, Yang is selectable only as a "palette swap" of his brother Yun in New Generation. In the latter two games Yang is a separate character with his own unique set of Special Moves and Super Arts. He is also a playable character in the arcade version of Super Street Fighter IV. The Lee Brothers were only relatives to their long-lost uncle Lee who fought in the first World Tournament (his wherabouts after that was unknown but he did request Gen to train them). With his twin brother Yun, he entered the third World Warrior tournament to show his skills. They later found and fought Gill, who appreciated their effort and granted them leadership of their town. They passionately turned down his offer, since they only fought him to stop his maniacal plans.

Yang has brown hair, styled as a spikey quiff. He sports a sleeveless, red kung fu shirt with a burgundy hem and yellow trim and buttons. On his arms, yellow wristbands that continue to form fingerless gloves, and black pants and sneakers. He is also seen wearing inline skates.

TWELVE

Twelve is a character in the Street Fighter series. He first appeared in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and is voiced by Lawrence Bayne. Twelve is the ultimate result of Gill's "G-Project," a biological warfare operation headed by Dr. Kure and overseen by Gill's brother, Urien, whom Twelve considers to be his father. A mimetic genetic creation, Twelve is able to assume the forms of other people and change the shape of any part of his body to fit the task at hand. He is also extremely resistant to damage and slavishly obedient, making him the perfect soldier. Once Twelve was declared a success, mass production began, and the original was sent on a special mission: locate and retrieve Necro, the original G-Project prototype, and Effie, Necro's companion and the one who freed him from the laboratory. In the game, when Necro encounters Twelve, Twelve is accompanied by several more of his "brothers" before he decides to fight Necro himself.

Whilst he can theoretically take on virtually any form, Twelve's default appearance is a milky-white semisolid male human. His body is generally smooth and featureless. His head is equally smooth and sloped like a helmet with a pair of thin, black eyes set above an expressionless, narrow mouth. Though he can alter his shape, the transformation is not perfect: he will maintain his coloring even on details such as clothing.Twelve's unusual fighting style extends to more than simply transforming his limbs into axes, spikes and other weapons. He is the only character with an air dash, which can alter the arcs of his jumps. He can also "crawl" on the floor, allowing him to remain mobile while evading many ranged attacks. Twelve can also render himself invisible for a short time using his taunt. His X.C.O.P.Y. super move transforms him into a copy of the opponent, allowing him to use any of that characters' standard moves.

SEAN MATSUDA

Sean Matsuda is a character in the Street Fighter series. He first appeared in Street Fighter III and is voiced by Isshin Chiba in New Generation and Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and by Mitsuo Iwata in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. Sean Matsuda was born in Brazil, though his paternal grandfather was Japanese. A keen basketball player, his main pastime is martial arts. Sean saw veteran World Warrior Ken Masters in action at the U.S. Martial Arts Tournament and swore to become his pupil.

Sean is often referred to as the "Dan Hibiki" of Street Fighter III Third strike. However, Sean was top tier in Second impact, so this comparison is questionable, as Dan is an intentionally ineffective joke character, whereas Sean is considered a difficult to use, but still an effective character. Sean was intended to be the only fighter who used Ryu and Ken's fighting style in the game until Capcom decided that Ryu and Ken were too popular to exclude.

SETH

Seth is the main antagonist of Street Fighter IV. He is the head of Shadaloo's weapon division, S.I.N. According to the official Street Fighter website, Seth is one of many genetically engineered replacement bodies for M. Bison. Bearing chrome skin and an extremely muscular physique, Seth is a synthetic human; whether android or cyborg is unclear. In his abdomen and enclosed inside a pattern consisting of the Eight Trigrams of Taoist cosmology is an exposed area, which contains a rotating yin-yang sphere. This sphere, which he calls the Tanden Engine, appears to be the source of his power, where it copies and translates the data from Seth's opponents, and allows him to mimic the special techniques of other fighters, such as Ken's Shoryuken, Guile's Sonic Boom, and Dhalsim's unique ability to stretch his limbs. When Seth uses his Tanden Engine to create a vacuum his skin color changes to navy blue, and his eyes turn black with a white iris.

Seth employs special powers and techniques from combatants in the game and appears to be one of the more powerful characters to appear in the Street Fighter franchise. His normal techniques are similar to Urien's and Gill's from Street Fighter III. He possesses various attacks such as a Shoryuken that can hit three times and is very similar to the one that Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Gouken, and Sakura use; Zangief's piledriver, Chun-Li and El Fuerte's Wall Jumps, Chun-Li's Yosokyaku and a variation of her Lightning Legs, Akuma and Gouken's Tenmakujinkyaku (Dive Kick), as well as vacuum blasts with the flick of his wrists, similar to Charlie's Sonic Boom. He also possesses a metamorphic body of sorts, being able to stretch his arms like Dhalsim, as well as teleport like him. His unique ability seems to center around space as he is able to suck in opponents from afar and pound on them afterwords. When using this ability, his body turns black temporarily.

REMY

Remy is a thin French fighter character in the Street Fighter series. His first and only appearance was in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and he was voiced by Eiji Sekiguchi. Remy bears a grudge against all fighters since his father abandoned his family to pursue the path of the warrior, and his sister died (he encased her in a block of ice underwater in the Bay of Biscay to preserve her). In his ending, he mentions that he must "forget everything" to be happy for it was the darkness of being a warrior that caused his father to disappear and abandon Remy and his sister. He allows his sister's corpse to sink further to the very bottom of the sea, showing that he has put his dark past behind him.

Remy is a long-haired fighter wearing a leather jacket emblazoned with an omega and red pants. He has characteristically large hands, seen in both portrait artwork and sprites.Remy's fighting resembles the French martial art of Savate and his special moves are very similar to those of Guile and Charlie. He is one of the only characters in 3rd Strike that can effectively control space at all times and virtually any range with the combination of powerful long range attacks and zoning techniques.Remy also uniquely, has his moves in both French and Japanese(for the Japanese moveset only.)

KARIN KANZUKI

Karin Kanzuki is a video game character from the Street Fighter fighting game series. Karin is a rival of fellow schoolgirl Sakura and has a similar outfit, complete with sailor fuku (this one being predominantly red and white with a blue bola tie), but uses the martial art style Kanzuki-ryū kakutōjutsu (a style she created herself) instead of the original style Sakura uses. Her hair is styled into long, oversized ringlets, and she occasionally wears a blue bow in the back. Due to the fact that she is from a wealthy family, Karin is quite snooty and thinks other people are her "commoners", or inferiors. Her Zodiac sign is Virgo. Karin considers herself a rival of Sakura, who defeated Karin when challenged. Karin is from the super wealthy Kanzuki family (daughter of Daikenjuro and Nadeshiko Kanzuki), whose motto is "All you need is victory" (also interpreted as "Be the winner in everything") and alternately "The worst we'll ever be is the Best". The Kanzuki corporation is threatened by Shadaloo, which then makes demands of the dynasty. She uses the family fortune when attempting to track down Shadaloo as well as a roving Sakura to challenge her again.

She also encounters R. Mika and battles her, and is so impressed by Mika's ability that she offers the wrestler her sponsorship. Karin eventually finds and defeats Sakura, but realizes the victory was a fluke, and that the fight itself is more important, not winning or losing

HUGO

Hugo is a character in the Street Fighter series. He first appeared in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact where he was voiced by Wataru Takagi. He would also voice him in SvC Chaos but was replaced by Len Carlsen in 3rd Strike. Hugo Andore is a giant man raised on a farm in germany, and a former member of the Mad Gear gang. He crossed over to North America when he was 20 years old, and was able to use his sheer size and strength to start a career in professional wrestling. Hugo was undefeated in both the wrestling world as well as the ultimate fighting world.

Hugo is unbelievably tall. Standing at 8 feet, he is the tallest character in Street Fighter history. Hugo traditionally wears a pink leopard skin tank-top with darker pink jeans, brown boots, and black studded wristbands. He wears a thick chain from the back of his waist, to 3/4 of the way around his waist, ending at his hip. He has long, messy black hair, that bounces and moves around as he moves and attacks. Hugo's face is considerably odd. His eyes are normally obscured by shadow during battle, but during certain animations, they become visible, revealing that he has no pupils, though he clearly has pupils in his character portrait. Hugo's design is said to be an homage to famed wrestler André the Giant.

GILL

Gill(ギル) is a character in the Street Fighter series. He first appeared in and is the main boss of Street Fighter III and is voiced by Bruce Robertson in New Generation and 2nd Impact and by Lawrence Bayne in 3rd Strike.

He is presented as a cult leader who would become a benevolent monarch over his worthy subjects. However, his cult uses kidnapping, coercion, DNA manipulation, brainwashing, and extreme force in order to select their chosen people. Gill's appearance is characterized by his half red and half blue muscular body and flowing blond hair. He bears a distinct and intentional resemblance to a Greek God.

Gill is the leader of a mysterious cult-like organization called the Illuminati which has manipulated world events for over 2000 years, and is dedicated to the salvation of mankind, and creation of a new utopia. The Illuminati had genetically enhanced Gill in his youth, increasing his strength and speed so that he could participate in an intense hand-to-hand combat training program. Gill became the top student out of the hundreds of enhanced warriors involved, surpassing even his own jealous brother, Urien.

Gill is much more powerful than every other character in Street Fighter III, so he is unselectable during regular gameplay. However, in home versions of Street Fighter III, Gill can be selected after he has been defeated at least once by every character. He is even selectable in Xbox Live matchmaking service games, providing players the opportunity to choose an unusually powerful character during head-to-head play.
Gill's asymmetrical color scheme was a device for Capcom to display the graphical power of the CPS-3 board. In previous SF games, details such as Sagat's eye-patch would switch depending on which way the character was facing. Originally, Gill was to be colored black and white. It was later decided to color him red and blue, to better show off the game's graphical power.

ELENA

Elena is a character in the Street Fighter series. She first appeared in Street Fighter III and is voiced by Hotaru Fujino in New Generation and 2nd Impact and by Mie Midori in 3rd Strike. Elena is a princess in an African tribe that has a cultural tradition of fighting, making her a warrior princess. She may have been born in Kenya, but her fighting style is Capoeira which utilizes her strong, long legs with dance-like moves and fancy legwork. Her father, the tribe's chief, is a witch doctor. However, he also has a PhD in medicine obtained from a French university. Elena's views of fighting and martial arts differ from most due to her light hearted personality allowing her to befriend some people and annoy others. She wants to travel around the world, meeting new friends along the way. She studied as an exchange student in Japan, where she met her best friend Narumi. She later continued those studies in France.

Elena has white hair, blue eyes, and dark skin. She is barefoot while fighting and has long, powerful legs. Her attire consists of a white two-piece bikini-like outfit with pale red, sky-blue, gold and purple bands on her neck, arms, wrists, shins, and ankles, making hers arguably the most revealing fight attire for a female in Street Fighter-verse history.

Elena's fighting style consists entirely of kicks and leg throws, even when the player uses a punch button command. She is the only Street Fighter character to use only kicks, in opposition to Dudley and Balrog who only use punches. (It should be noted that Dudley uses an elbow strike for his jumping HK and Balrog uses headbutts for his throws and his anti-air charge move.)

Elena is one of the only Street Fighter characters who has the ability to use Healing, a Super Art which allows Elena to regain up to 1/3 of her life energy bar if given the opportunity. The only other similar situation is in Street Fighter Alpha 3, when Juni and Juli fight together as an AI-controlled sub-boss team, as they can also heal themselves.

ALEX

Alex entered the third World Warrior tournament because its sponsor, Gill, had seriously injured his best friend and mentor/father figure Tom, even though Tom had told him Gill had won fairly. Tom allowed him to go, letting him make his own decision. Alex won every match and then faced Gill. Although he defeated Gill, Alex did not have a chance to kill him, and he went home, to find Tom fully recovered

Alex is an American from New York (given his accent, many assume Alex is from Brooklyn). He is loosely based on professional wrestler Hulk Hogan; his pre-fight intro where he rips off his vest is similar to Hogan's trademark entrance and he has a special intro with Hugo that resembles the Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant staredown. He has long blonde hair and wears green overalls as pants (straps down), combat boots, green fighting gloves, and a wide red headband. He also has a scar on both of his shoulders where his overall straps should be and red marks under his eyes, possibly facepaint.

Alex makes use of a Power Bomb similar in appearance and in execution to Zangief's Flying Power Bomb. He also uses a Spiral DDT in which he leaps at the opponent and grabs hold of them, spinning around them and slamming them headfirst into the ground, reminiscent of El Fuerte's lucha libre style. His Air Stampede consists of suddenly leaping into the air and landing feet-first on his opponent's head in a manner similar to, but with shorter range than M. Bison's trademark Head Stomp, with the same input. His Air Knee Smash sees him lumping diagonally forward knee-first, and is his anti-air move. Finally, he possesses the Flash Chop, in which he performs a short-range horizontal hand chop in a stationary position like real-life WWE wrestler Ric Flair's "Flair Chop", and a Slash Elbow, which is visually similar but has him rush forward before delivering the horizontal slash with the elbow instead of the side of the palm.
