YOSHIMITSU

Yoshimitsu (born July 18, 1959) is a fictional character originally created for the Tekken series of fighting games, designed by Namco. Yoshimitsu made his first appearance in Tekken, and he has returned for all subsequent sequels to that game since his inception. Additionally, a seperate character bearing the same name, weapon, clan and basic information, was later carried over into Namco’s Soul series as a secret character, making his debut in Soulcalibur and returning for Soulcalibur II, Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV, and the portable remake of Soul Calibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. It is implied that he is a descendant of the Yoshimitsu of Soulcalibur. It can also be noted that he changes his costumes with every game/tournament (although his Tekken 1, 2, 3, and 4 Player 2 outfits bear some similarity to each other). He can also be customized with items to look like his Tekken 3 costume in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. Yoshimitsu is one of only four Tekken characters (the others being Heihachi Mishima, Nina Williams, and Paul Phoenix) to have appeared in every game in the series.

Yoshimitsu initially entered the first tournament as a decoy, so that Kunimitsu and the other members of the Manji clan would be able to steal the tournament’s funds unobserved. But eventually, he heard of a powerful sumo wrestler, called Ganryu engaging in fraud and other corrupt activity, who had likewise entered the tournament. Despite not being a sumo himself, this base disrespect for the sumo code of honour infuriated Yoshimitsu, so he defeated Ganryu, stole his fortune and distributed it amongst the poor.
Yoshimitsu appears in the live-action film Tekken portrayed by actor and stunt man Gary Ray Stearns. He participates in the Iron Fist tournament and is pitted against Jin Kazama. While Yoshimitsu holds his own, Jin eventually defeats him with a punch directly to his masked face. Yoshimitsu will go through another costume change, his features will be a samurai look with light gold armour as when Jin hit him with the guan dao it made a metal to metal clash sound. In the movie he works for Kazuya Mishima and is a master swords men.
Yoshimitsu seems the only character in the Tekken series that used a sword. (And Mokujin or Tetsujin when they're mimicking him, but they don't count as they were using wooden/iron swords. Combot also can mimic Yoshimitsu in Tekken 4 and uses a blue blade light sword attached to his hand).

LING XIAOYU

Ling Xiaoyu (born June 9, 1989) is a fictional Chinese character from the popular Tekken video game series. She attends the Mishima Polytechnical School with Jin Kazama (whom she has a crush on) and her friend Miharu Hirano. Her life’s ambition is to build an amusement park for all of China to enjoy. Since Xiaoyu has been voiced by Japanese voice actress Yumi Touma since Tekken 3, Xiaoyu speaks only in Japanese despite being Chinese, even to her grandfather, Wang Jinrei, in an interlude in Tekken 5 and Tekken: Dark Resurrection. Outside of the main series, Ling Xiaoyu has appeared in Tekken Card Challenge, Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken Advance. Xiaoyu also appears in Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2 as an unlockable character.
Even at 7 years old, Ling Xiaoyu loved amusement parks. She was tutored in martial arts by Wang Jinrei from a young age. He believed that if she were more serious, she could achieve true greatness, but he became frustrated by her careless attitude.

While vacationing in Hong Kong with her family, she noticed a yacht bearing the name: “Mishima Zaibatsu”. Knowing that the Mishima Zaibatsu was rich and powerful, she decided to seek out Heihachi Mishima and make her dream a reality. Abandoning her family, Xiaoyu stowed away on the ship. The ship’s security soon discovered her and informed Heihachi of her presence. By the time that Heihachi arrived on the scene, all of the Tekkenshu—Heihachi’s personal security force—that were aboard the ship had been beaten into unconsciousness and strewn about the deck. It looked as if the ship had been hit by a hurricane.

Amidst the chaos, Heihachi found Xiaoyu. She threatened to beat him up if he did not accept her challenge. Amused by her juvenile antics, Heihachi roared with laughter and promised to build her theme park if she won his tournament. She enrolls at the Mishima Polytechnical School, and this is where she first meets both Jin Kazama and Miharu Hirano. Bringing along her old school's trained panda (aptly named "Panda"), Heihachi teaches her to fight, much like he has taught Kuma, so that Xiaoyu would have a bodyguard. This inspired Xiaoyu to see Heihachi as something of a grandfather toward her.

As of Tekken 6, she now shares common intentions as Jun Kazama (except with Kazuya) in saving Jin from evil and from his hatred of his grandfather, Heihachi. Since Tekken 4, her goals center around Jin Kazama. Her crush for Jin Kazama has grown since they were students.

LEI WULONG

Lei Wulong (born October 4, 1961) is a fictional character from the Tekken fighting game series. The Chinese characters in his name literally translates to Thunder Martial (Arts) Dragon He is based on Jackie Chan.
During Tekken 2 and Tekken 3, Lei was a respected police officer, dubbed "super cop", who put countless criminals behind bars. He was investigating the illegal hunting and trading of endangered animals done by the Mishima Zaibatsu during Tekken 2 and fought Bruce Irvin, his old partner who was working for Kazuya Mishima. Lei defeated Bruce, who escaped in an airplane, but it crashed. Before Tekken 3 he was investigating the drug dealer Bryan Fury, before Bryan was "killed."

Lei's Fighting Style is known as Ng Ga Kuen (Five Families/Five Animals Kung Fu) & Zui Quan (Drunken Fist), the latter which appeared in Jackie Chan's films "Spiritual Kung Fu" and "Drunken Master".
lso his character is based on Kevin Chan from Jackie Chan's "Police Story" series of movies.
In the times during 100ad in china, as the history mentioned about Kong Ming styled Zhuge Liang lives in Wulong's hills. Wulong supposed to be the name of the ancestors that named for the hills.

NINA WILLIAMS

Nina Williams (born December 28, 1964) is a character from the Tekken game series. She is a cold-blooded assassin who made her first appearance in the original Tekken and has appeared in every Tekken since. She is one of only four Tekken characters to appear in each game and the only female character to have appeared in every installment. She has a notable love/hate relationship with her younger sister, Anna Williams.

Nina has a lethal fighting style, consisting of many throws, elaborate kick combos, grapples, holds, and chain-throws (something that only a few Tekken series characters have). In 2005, Nina Williams starred in her own spin-off game, Death by Degrees.

Nina is generally portrayed as emotionless, stoic, and focused. She does not smile often, as opposed to her more frivolous sister, but Nina does display a sense of humor where tormenting Anna is concerned. Nina is somewhat antisocial, and also appears to be in great psychological turbulence, most noticeably since Tekken 3. This is presumably due to the traumatic events of her life such as witnessing the death of her beloved father (before the events of Tekken) as a young child, the results of her "cryosleep", which resulted Nina suffering amnesia. Two more events that may have contributed to Nina's cool demeanour are the discovery that she has a son, Steve Fox, who was created by in-vitro fertilization without Nina's knowledge during her "cryosleep" and the deep-seated enmity between Anna and herself.
Ever since her debut, Nina instantly became a fan favorite, due to her speed, lethal moves, and chain throws. Her strength is on par with most characters, and she can even evade and counterattack. Her combos are something to watch out too, as they are elaborate, strong, and even lethal. However, her chain throws are difficult to perform that it requires precision and patience.

PANDA

Panda is a character in the Tekken fighting game series. She is, as her name implies, a Giant Panda. She is the loyal pet, best friend, and bodyguard of Ling Xiaoyuo. She has the same fighting style as Kuma, Heihachi Mishima's pet grizzly bear. Kuma seems to have a crush on Panda. Like Xiaoyu, Panda made her debut in Tekken 3.
Panda is the bodyguard of Ling Xiaoyu and was taught the same fighting of Kuma the second and Ling Xiaoyu but she didn't use Ling's moves. Panda lost in the tournament by who is unknown, she knew that Kuma had a crush on her, but she dislikes him, but to like him just a little. After then she just left school to go home with Ling Xiaoyu.

In Tekken 4, Panda is given her own story. In this story, it chronicles Panda as missing Kuma somewhat, and throughout her prologue, she is seen thinking about Kuma. In her Tekken 4 ending, she hands over control of the Mishima Zaibatsu to Xiaoyu, and then she calls Xiaoyu over to an abandoned wrestling ring. She then explains to Xiaoyu that she has decided to search for Kuma on her own and wishes for Xiaoyu to do the same with Jin Kazama.
In Tekken 5 After the conclusion of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, Ling Xiaoyu had been feeling depressed. Panda thought long and hard about how she could make Xiaoyu happy again. Panda decided that the best approach would be to find Jin Kazama. Panda searched for Jin, but she was unable to find him. One day, Xiaoyu came to her excited. "Panda, I've decided to enter The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, and I need your help once again". Panda didn't quite understand Xiaoyu's reason for entering the tournament, but she decided to help if it would make her happy

CHRISTIE MONTEIRO

Christie Monteiro (born October 18, 1987) is a character in the Tekken series of video games. She is the granddaughter of the master who taught Eddy Gordo. Originally, the development team intended to create a female Capoeira fighter for Tekken 3, but felt too unconfident at the time and so opted for a male character instead. Upon her introduction in Tekken 4, Christie replaced Eddy as the prominently-featured Capoeira practitioner. Yet, with the release of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Eddy has been reintroduced to the canonical series as a non-palette swap character. Christie is the granddaughter of the master to Eddy Gordo, who took him in the art of Capoeira during his time in prison. While in prison, Eddy swore an oath to the Master to pass on the art of Capoeira to his granddaughter.

Christie Monteiro appears in the live-action Tekken movie. In addition, she has no relation to Eddy Gordo and is Jin's "girlfriend". Christie is portrayed by American actress Kelly Overton. This version of Christie is a Caucasian mixed martial artist instead of a Brazilian Capoeira fighter and is referenced to her video game incarnation by her fighting gear and her being trained by her grandfather. She seems to be originating from an organization called Vectrocorp.
Christie bears more than a passing resemblance to Monique Fuentes, Aishwarya Rai and Jennifer Lopez.

Christie is a video game sex symbol being featured on numerous online hottest female game character lists.

HEIHACHI MISHIMA

Heihachi Mishima (born August 24, 1932) is a fictional Japanese character in the Tekken fighting game series. Heihachi (roughly transa to "Eighth Peace of the Third Island") is one of only four characters (the others being Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams and Yoshimitsu) to have appeared in every game in the series.

The official backstory for each game somehow involves Heihachi or his immediate actions: he makes two appearances within the series as the main antagonist (in Tekken and Tekken 4) and one as the main protagonist (in Tekken 2), marking him as one of series' central characters, Heihachi is also featured in Soul Calibur II, another fighting game made by Namco.

Heihachi is the son of Jinpachi Mishima, the father of Kazuya Mishima and Lars Alexandersson (though he is unaware of this until the sixth tournament), the adopted father of Lee Chaolan and the grandfather of Jin Kazama. He fights with the power of Mishima Style Karate and is the founder and the Commander of the Tekken Force Unit. He has hosted all but the second, fifth, and sixth King of Iron Fist tournaments (which were hosted by Kazuya, Jinpachi, and Jin respectively).
Heihachi Mishima appears in the live-action film Tekken portrayed by actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, he is initially a villain but becomes a much more sympathetic character than in the games, as he is willing to give his life to save Jin from the Tekken Corp soldiers. He is killed by his son, Kazuya Mishima, in his attempt to overtake Tekken. It looks as if Heihachi is killed near the end of the film. However, a post-credits scene reveals that he actually survived, saying "I am Mishima Heihachi. I am Tekken. You WILL obey!" to one of the Jacks.

MARSHALL LAW

Marshall Law (born August 22, 1960) is a character in the Tekken fighting game series. The character is a homage to the martial artist Bruce Lee and shares many characteristics with the famous martial artist, even uttering similar high-pitched shouts and whoops when he performs certain strikes and attacks.
Marshall also appears in the game Urban Reign, along with his friend Paul Phoenix. In that game, he is unlocked by completing one free mode level. He also has a son named Forrest, born March 17, 1983, who is also based on Bruce Lee.
He is one of the 6 characters from the Tekken series (Tekken, Tekken 2, & Tekken 3 respectively) not to appear in Tekken Tag Tournament. But, he returns in Tekken 4.

Marshall Law is a Chinese-American who fights using Jeet Kune Do. Sometimes known as "The Fighting Chef", he is training with Paul Phoenix during Tekken 1 and Tekken 2, and he is the father of Forrest Law. He entered the first King of Iron Fist Tournament in order to gain enough money so he could start his own dojo. Marshall does get enough money as a runner-up for his dojo and took Wang Jinrei to a draw. He is indeed married to "Mrs. Law" is seen in Yoshimitsu's ending.
His name is a play on the phrase "martial law," which is the imposition of military rule by military authorities over designated regions on an emergency basis, such as when the civilian government fails to function effectively, etc.

JUN KAZAMA

Jun Kazama is a character from the Tekken Series who is currently labeled as missing. Jun was introduced in Tekken 2, and returned for Tekken Tag Tournament, even though this game is non-canonical. She is the mother of Jin Kazama. It was confirmed in the Tekken 6 storyline that she was attacked and killed by Ogre before Tekken 3, though many fans argue that this is only in Jin's perspective. Ogre has some of her moves, like her "Windmill Kick" move. Jin, seeking to avenge his mother, kills True Ogre in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3. Jin now wants to get his second revenge by killing Ogre. Another interesting fact is that Jun seems to be completely replaced by a recent addition to the series named Asuka Kazama (cousin of Jin Kazama), both in terms of gameplay (they have the same moves, but Asuka has more moves than Jun). Asuka first appeared in Tekken 5. In previous Tekken games, Jun Kazama possessed strange angelic powers that allowed her to temporarily quell evil entities (such as the Devil which possessed Jin Kazama and, possibly, Kazuya Mishima).

Jun is an officer of the WWWC, a wildlife protection organization. She is called "The Chosen One" by her Kazama relatives. She is highly psychic and can sense a mysterious power surrounding Kazuya Mishima. At the behest of her father's ghost, she sets out to free Kazuya, who smuggles environmentally-protected animals, and also wants to free him of his evil power during the tournament.
Jun Kazama appears in the Tekken Movie as one of the main sources around the film. Before the events of the movie Jun was once close with the professinal street boxer Steve Fox. Also what is known that she was raped by Kazuya and became pregnant with Jin (which Kazuya never found out about until Jin was a young adult). Jun raised and trained Jin the Kazama Arts of Fighting. She was very protective of him and was very angry that he wanted to enter the Tekken tournament. She tried to hide the truth about his Mishima blood by telling him that his father was dead. It also revealed that Jun was saved by Heihachi Mishima. Jun was killed by a bombing caused by Kazuya and the Jack Police Force. This is the reason why Jin enters the tournament.

BRUCE IRVIN

Bruce Irvin is a character in the Tekken fighting game series. His appearance, mannerisms and fighting style have been based on Thai martial artist Tony Jaa since Tekken 6. Bruce Irvin is highly skilled in the art of Muay Thai. At an early age, Bruce lost his father, mother, and older brother, and he turned to fighting, eventually joining the police force and working alongside Lei Wulong. He was a respected American cop and a role model for children, as shown in his endings. When Bruce was sent to Japan to investigate Kazuya Mishima, the plane crashed and Bruce lost his memories. Kazuya found him and hired him as a bodyguard. At the second King of Iron Fist tournament , he found himself fighting his old partner Lei, who was sent to find him and arrest Kazuya. In the end, Bruce was defeated and escaped on another airplane which also exploded.

After becoming reacquainted with Kazuya Mishima at the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, Bruce Irvin decided to assist Kazuya with his scheme to takeover G Corporation , and after they had succeeded Kazuya managed to control the corporation from behind closed doors. In Tekken 5 and 6, one of Bruce's victory animations directly imitates Tony Jaa's series of movements from "Ong-Bak The Muay Thai Warrior".

HWOARANG

Hwoarang (born September 29, 1986) is a fictional Korean character in the Tekken game series. Hwoarang's name derives from the Hwarang, a group of young male warriors in the ancient Korean kingdom of Silla that probably created the ancient Hwarangdo. Hwoarang is one of the few characters in Tekken 4 whose final boss is not Heihachi Mishima. Instead, his final boss is his rival Jin Kazama. The others include Heihachi himself, Kazuya Mishima and Lee Chaolan.Hwoarang is a student of Baek Doo San and well-versed in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. Frustrated and happy, he entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 to fight a conclusive battle with Jin, and to get revenge for the "supposed" death of his master.

He bears the nickname, Blood Talon, and the pseudonym "BoB" allegedly because gamers have difficulty in writing his name correctly. Another theory is that it is derived from the pre-release Tekken 3 art by Namco where he was seen on a motorcycle, but without any name given, he became known simply as Boy on Bike.
Hwoarang has the most win animations in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection and Tekken 6, with a total of ten win animations each. However, one of his win animations would only show up after defeating Jinpachi Mishima in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, which is (obviously) not the case in Tekken 6.

GON

Gon is a licensed character appearing in Tekken 3. He is unlockable by defeating him in the Tekken Ball mode or by achieving a high score in Survival mode and inputing the name "GON". He is one of the two special hidden playable characters, along with Doctor Boskonovitch. It is unknown if Gon's appearance in Tekken 3 is canon or not. His appearance seems purely ornamental, considering no motive is given for him participating in the third King of Iron Fist Tournament. Gon's ending is the only ending in Tekken 3 that goes in a continuous loop. Gon's alternate costume for this game shows him with a turtle shell and blue gloves (The turtle shell being a reference to the time when Gon decided to wear a turtle shell that he found.). Gon is the only character in Tekken 3 who is barely affected by True Ogre's fire blast. It only does 1 damage point to Gon. He is one of the 6 characters from the Tekken series (Tekken, Tekken 2, Tekken 3 Tekken 4 Tekken 5 and Tekken 6 respectively) not to appear as a playable character in Tekken Tag Tournament and hasn't appeared in a Tekken game since Tekken 3

Gon is based off a manga created by Masashi Tanaka. Gon is a small dinosaur that bullies animals that are paleolithic.

Masashi Tanaka (Gon's creator) has said, "This work contains no dialog or onomatopoetic words. People always ask me why I have done this. From the beginning, I didn't think it was necessary. Manga should be without grammar. I also think that it is strange to give animals human language and make them talk. What I set out to do with Gon was to draw something that was more interesting than anything you could say in words. Manga still has great potential that does not exist in other media. I plan to continue developing the art of expression."

Gon's adventures are usually comedic with environmental connotations. There is very little continuity within the series, with Gon appearing in different countries and interacting with their respective fauna in almost every issue. He is often portrayed as being a short-tempered yet good-hearted creature, offering his help to the various animal friends he encounters in each issue.

BRYAN FURY

Bryan Fury (born April 27, 1973) is a video character from the Tekken series. Dr. Abel 'created' him after he was killed, installing cybernetic enhancements to resurrect him. These enhancements resulted in extreme power, inhuman durability, extremelly high agility, superhuman stamina, amazing speed and many moves. It appears however. Once a rogue police officer and kickboxer, Bryan rivaled Lei Wulong. After being attacked simultaneously by two gangs, Bryan died, and was subsequently reanimated by scientist Dr. Abel. Infusing him with cybernetic enhancements, Abel reanimated him as a cyborg, intending to use him to kill both Yoshimitsu and Doctor Boskonovitch, Abel's rival. Even after Abel transformed Bryan into a cyborg, he still retained all of his prior memories.

Bryan Fury appears in the live-action film Tekken as a secondary antagonist, portrayed by British actor and kickboxer Gary Daniels. As in the games, he is a human turned cyborg, and fights for the Mishima Zaibatsu (here named "Tekken"). Kazuya blackmails him into fighting in the Iron Fist Tournament so as to eliminate Jin Kazama. Bryan, fearing the exposure of his illegal bionic implants, complies. He fights and kills Sergei Dragunov with relative ease, and then faces Jin, whom he pummels until Jin discovers that his artificial joints are weak. Jin exploits this weakness and kills Bryan by twisting his neck.

STEVE FOX

Steve Fox (born March 21, 1986) is a fictional young English boxer in the Tekken fighting game series. He made his first appearance in Tekken 4 and was originally given the name "Dean Earwicker" before the game's arcade release. Having no memory of his past, Steve does not know the identity of his biological father or the origin of the scar on his arm. He is the son of Nina Williams.
Steve Fox, an Oxford University Graduate, was an incredible fighter in the ring. However, his expertise caused fear within the Mafia, who told him to lose a fight on purpose for money. Steve did not obey, and instead, won the fight. This resulted in Steve being pursued by the mafia who were eager to kill him. Steve left the country, flying to America, but came to the wise conclusion that no mattter where he was, he would be found and killed. Steve enters the The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 in hopes of finding out more information behind the unusual scar he bore on his arm.

Steve Fox appeared in the live-action Tekken movie in spring 2010, played by British actor Luke Goss, despite the huge age difference between them. In contrast to the video game character, this version of Steve is an older, retired fighter with no blood relation to Nina. He appears with a shorter close shaved hair style and dresses in a leather biker bomber jacket with a grey low circular cut vest underneath, he also wears dark jeans and a string necklace with a pendant. He still talks with an English accent often swearing by calling people wankers (his accent and mannerisms close to that of a "typical"north-londoners today).
